All my life I have loved Christmas music, from the worshipful 'official' carols we sang in church, to all the pop standards from the crooners, etc. But my holiday is not complete without hearing this song. I have loved it since the very first time I heard it many years ago. Chris totally captured what it feels like for all of us separated from family by miles, or the artificial urgencies of career life, or as it was for me when I was serving in the military when my kids were small.
