Everyone always ask me what tools I use, what leather I use, what dye, and so on. In this video I'm going to show every single tool that I use on every one of my leather projects. With these tools you can make just about anything.

Thanks for the great video. I've been doing this for about 6 months and there always seems to be more to learn. And a different way to do it. Lots of good information from you. Thank you.

Thank you for this video!!!  I have been doing leatherwork for 12 years now and it was still good to see how YOU use the tools.  Your idea for the foam and cardboard base to use when drilling holes in thick leather was really great!!  Thank you for sharing all of this.  I had a $120 pair of boots that were bright RED!  After watching half of your video I ordered some of the Oil Dye and dyed them dark brown with great success.  I am NOT  a red shoe person!  You Rock!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. Learned a lot about leather tools.

Good point about working your way up. Had to with just about every thing I do in my shop. (Primarily woodworking) When leave it, for last time, there'll be list of "want to have". Still adding, a piece at a time, when "need to have" comes. But, only after "making do with what you have" doesn't get the job done.

BTW, my first work bench was a old maple kitchen table. :-)

Beat up after 40+ years, it's the table beside my computer, as I type.

That was a great video that just about sums up everything your going to need to start out in leatherwork, it will help some one who is just starting out in leatherwork a lot, one thing you mentioned that I thought was right is the cost of the tools and it's not a cheap hobby, I think I have spent about £500 so far and still spending on tools, not sure what that is in dollars, All the best John.
