My favorite tool is your videos. I learned so much from zero! Thanks so much!

Good lighting over the bench. Have trouble seeing a line or get confused by a shadow and it’s easy to make an error.

Pushing close to 80, 000 subs and proceeds to make us all jealous with his fine tools and impressive skills, this man has exerted his dominance and I am in awe !

One of my favorite tools is the Wood Is Good 18-ounce mallet. Good comfortable handle, very quite, and super durable. Thousands of strikes and not a scratch on it. Picked it up on Amazon

Just made a holster for my Star Trek phaser and used rivets. I learned the hard way the importance of an anvil. Just order one for future projects. Thanks!

Another video idea: Show us your sharpening 'program' - bevellers, punches, blades, etc.

Leather scissors, I cut all my patterns out with scissors. The straight edges I cut with a metal ruler and a box cutter, but all the round parts with my scissors. It's got tiny little teeth on the bottom blade that grips the leather while the super sharp top blade cuts through like a hot knife through butter

You're pretty friggen good, Tony! Thanks for dropping major knowledge on these tools! You cut through the fluff and we love how blunt you are, yet you're sharp at the same time!
Love you...

If you want an inexpensive version of the palosanto beveler's, I have discovered Diudus on Amazon. The packaging is amazing and the tools are too. A lot of people claim they are worthless but I haven't found a flaw... I will buy these other the others. Also, their other tools are quality as well. I bought a French Skiver and a few other things and they are amazing. Let me know if any of you try them out!

Thank you for such great videos... I am starting from zero and they have given me the confidence to get some leather, pick up my (cheap) tools and have a go...

that is the hat I voted for, can't wait to make one for myself
Back to the tools, I was so glad to see that your old knife made it as the top tool. I have one similar that my Dad gave me & I am very skilled at using it, I cut round corners fine now problem. I've not been successful with that curved blade but do have it in my arsenal of blades. The Palosantos with ebony handle is the one I'm saving up for, I want to upgrade to something special and this is what I need.
Well I'm happy that I have these tools and I just need to concentrate on upgrading and getting a wider range of the 1/2 and 1/4 rounds because the whole set is needed

Thanks for the awesome video as usual

You missed out the most important tools my friend, *HANDS!* My number one tool. Took me the past two years to get the use back of my hands (SERO + Reactive Arthritis). No tool is useful if you can't hold it. <3 Leather-working has given me the use of my hands back, best Physiotherapy ever!
Much love from Cornwall, England Tony

I like the charter made pattern knife. Of course I didn't buy it from charter made but from an ebay blacksmith because of the price.

Gotta go with my Cowboy long arm sewing machine. Still sew a lot by hand but no more 4-hour belt builds and can pop out a custom holster over lunch. After that, would be the Crafttool heavy leather scissors (Tandy) or their pro series rotary punch. Will need to look at the press as the ones I've seen in the past are way too expensive.

When I have made custome seam rippers, I take great amount of care making my handles. I believe this is one of the greatest things I take into account when making any tool. Quality and craftsmanship.

Some of my favorite tools I purchase are high quality German steel carving tools. These tools last a lifetime and they are still sharp.

Shout out for Proxxon Tool! Love mine to bits, best buy ever. I have the 12v Micromot system and small bench press to drill thick leather like knife sheaths.
