In this video we share some of the repairs we've made on the ECX AMP MT 1/10 scale 2-wheel drive monster trucks.

First up, we show where, why and how the rear suspension tower put dents into the body. We'll show you how we repaired and reinforced the body using drywall tape and E6000 adhesive. Then, using coroplast, we created a buffer and support to keep the body away from the shock tower so we don't break the body. This included having to drill new body clip holes, which we show you how to do that.

Then we discuss the why and how we destroyed the spur gear the first time and what we did to prevent it from happening again prematurely. This also includes a discussion on setting the slipper clutch and gear mesh.

And yes, we know the metal parts are rusty. We didn't do a good job cleaning the trucks after the last run in the snow. However, some WD40 and a toothbrush cleaned it up pretty well.

Problem I had with min was when I took the tires off and the hex heads pop off revealing a pin that held the bolt on for the lug nut thing

Great vid guy.

I got a question though, I have ECX Roost 1:18 4WD, and the Pinion gear ain't catching onto Spur like it should. The Pinion gear barely/nearly touches the Spur while the throttle is going.. So the tires barely make any movement like before.

Is it because the Spur or Pinion gear is striped?? I tried searching for the answer through Google and other sources but haven't received the answer I'm looking for. This my first RC Car so the feedback would help a lot.

Thanks in advance
