Shouldnt this work even with out the DOD kit? Of course a tune so the spark and and fuel dont cut out but mechanically they wont be disabled/locked by the oil??

Will putting this on a truck that didn’t get a full dod delete just a tune to turn off the 4cyl deactivation make it misfire? Wondering cause a mechanic did that and I asked around and it’s not supposed to be done that way he never came back to finish the job and truck is misfiring like crazy on cylinder 6 would this cause it? Truck wasn’t misfiring on 6 before he did that and the dod delete tune

But I did a Cam Swap, Valve springs, Long Tube Headers and a stall converter. So I had to get rid of the DOD/AFM bull crap

Hope you changed the camshaft as well otherwise it was pointless

I got mine from AMS racing but mine didn’t come with the plug, so just come with a new plate

Is there also any oil bypass in the pan that needs plugged? I had a AFM delete done on my 2007 envoy, but I'm having really low oil pressure when its warm.

From looking things up its gotta be these towers, oil pan inlet o-ring or someone said there is a bypass in the pan itself. Did you have to do anything in the pan?

Can someone explain why these are plugged? I have vvt but i dont have dod. The engines still has these holes though.

If I use HP Tuner to make DOD OFF, is it OK delete AFM?
