This book was super intense. I usually listen to audiobooks when working out to make pass time quicker and to time myself and I ended up cutting the workout short to listen to the audiobook closely at home. A 10/10 book. Due to the contents in the book I’m not surprised movie studios and directors have struggled trying to make an adaptation of this book.

I think the title is actually about the meridian meaning middle point in geography of the planet, which is where Texas/Northern Mexico is. Meridian can also mean a line traveled by an object. The meridian where the story takes place is violent and the path that the Glanton gang create is bloody and violent. Hence the name BLOOD MERIDIAN.
