2022 Volkswagen Jetta Review

Just purchased a 2022 Jetta S w/ the 6 speed manual and I cannot speak more highly of it. It is incredibly fun to drive as a commuter, and is "peppy" with the 1.5 turboed motor. I didn't think you would really feel the turbo but you absolutely do. I am consistently getting 40+ mpg driving "back roads" and highly I'm seeing 45 mpg's sometimes. For a base model at the price point, I'm not sure that I could have asked for a more comfortable interior as well.

I have a 2022 Jetta Sport 6MT. This car is the best new car value currently on the market, especially for a manual.

Amazingly fuel efficient, quick/peppy when you want it to be, huge trunk, roomy back seats, and a great interior with all of the basics tech-wise.

For price you can get one of these for, you really can’t beat what VW is offering.

The rear vents are actually under the seats, so they exist, but are hidden and non adjustable I think

My 2013 VW Jetta TDI had just died, cascading sensors crashing, bad wiring short and cannot find where it is. Only 159, 000 miles…was hoping I would get another 100, 000 out of it. I’d love to be able to get a 2022 Jetta!

I picked up a 2023 Jetta Sport and love how smooth it is. I wonder if there are any tunes for the 1.5 engine or intakes?

Why would VW stop selling its top or top 3 sold car in North America? not sure where you got that from. The Golf/GTI is more likely to fold in the USA because it is outsold more than 2 to 1 in North America. Europeans prefer the fastback models like the GTI.
