Hi Scotty. I've used a similar brand on two windshields, and these products do reduce the visibility of the chips or cracks. These are great for a cheap quick fix. Cheers.

@0:45 actually you can fix a crack going across a windshield. There is a RainX windshield repair kit you can buy at any Walmart for $10. Use the pressure tool for the main impact spot of where the crack started then there is so much resin left you can go along the crack all the way across the windshield while squeezing resin into the crack ( just as long as you fix the crack right away since over time dirt gets in it). The resin will fill the crack in nicely and it'll be barely noticeable. I have done this on several cars and works every time.

Useful info, thanks! But long cracking suggests windshield's laminated annealed glass (tempered tends to shatter into small chunks). Which car manufacturers are using laminated tempered glass these days?
