I can NOT drink baking soda water without vomiting, so I pour the baking soda onto a piece of paper, get a mouthful of liquid, tilt my head upwards, and pour the baking soda in the back of my throat. Swallow quickly, and you won't taste it at all. I learned this taking goody's and bc powders.

Another great tip with baking soda is to use it with super glue it dries hard as a rock instantly when super glue touches it.. great for fixing stuff, filling cracks ect.. and great video by the way

I use baking soda to combat my acid reflux if you have real bad acid indigestion and you have a nearby source of baking soda grab a couple of spoonfuls and down it with some water you'd be surprised what you'll do when you have an acid attack

As a pharmacist I must caution against using standard baking soda. This leads to a redox effect where it will give immediate relief, but will be far worse when the base/acid effect wears off.

DO NOT treat your heartburn with baking soda! Yes, it is extremely effective, as long as you don't end up comatose in the ER with a case of acute alkalosis...
