My regret as a former CS student, is not practicing enough outside of the class room to build my coding skills for my career, I relied on the university, professors, and classes to teach me how to code and problem solve, passively doing the assignments(which i got stuck on) and studied the CS concepts and theory, but not spending enough time building my own side projects, and coding in my free time, I understand programming syntax and logic, but I didn’t know how to use it to solve problems without the solution in front of me, didn’t know when I was suppose to use methods, and classes or how to structure them, even though I understood the concept

Currently in my second semester of my freshman year of college. Indeed a computer science major so you have noooo idea how impactful these videos are. I appreciate yo content fasho. 🙌🏾🤎 (I am currently at a community college but I signed for football and got redshirted this first season so I’ll be hear for 5 semesters.) Literally just sat down with my business teacher and created my course plan all this week. I got calculus 1/2/3, physics 1 & 2, comp. programming 1 & 2 with C++, data science, and discrete structures coming up after I finish these last 3 classes I need to graduate next semester. Seriously considering going to school year round if financial aid looking right. Does it sound like I’m on the right track? Sorry for the paragraph but any feedback helps. Especially since you’ve been here. I appreciate you.
