You can't have too many regrets, considering where you are now - you must have done A LOT of things right! The video is so insightful! Really great advice for everyone interested in comp sci career. The importance of data structures and algorithms cannot be overemphasized - it is absolutely essential! Knowledge of programming languages is secondary; data structures and algorithms are the primary component of success! Arrays, particularly two- or more-dimensional, lists, recursion, merging, sorting. Connections with more advanced students are crucial for success in studies - they can help a lot!
