When tf did this video blow up!?
Edit: Since this vid blow up, guess I'll do a PSA.
I use and love Linux, but I understand that it's not for everyone. Use what feels best in your hands; whether it's Linux, Mac, Windows, BSD, or even an abacus.

Arch Linux users talking about how they spent an entire weekend carefully building up their custom operating system from the ground up to avoid bloating their operating system while downloading 8gb of flatpak dependencies to get a simple calculator app running

I wish I could run Linux but my brain is basically two raccoons fighting over a half eaten Cinnabon on a Barnes and nobles dumpster full of manga with the cover ripped off so I have no chance of learning how to run it.

I vaguely know precisely one linux user, and it was honestly kinda funny to see their utter disbelief at the concept that one of my reasons for not using linux is I know I simply wouldn't be capable of getting it to run.
Because my sibling who's actually pretty decent with computers has tried several times and never been able to get any part of any version to work, meanwhile I can barely operate windows.
Between that and the occasional posts or comments I see about that kinda stuff, it seems pretty clear to me that a lot of dedicated Linux users are in that space opposite to the Dunning-Kruger effect of being so good at something they don't realise there's anything in it to be good at.

The conclusion is simply inevitable:
We should all start using BSD.

Funny story my university I want to from 2020-2024 had us use Linux one semester for a class that was fundamentals of computer software in a nutshell. Can’t remember the class name specifically but that is what it was. I was studying space systems engineering and in a class of 20 people we were only able to get one person to be able run a simple program on their computer. My program would constantly fail and every time it would be a different reason. Professor gave up in 4 weeks because it was so bad and he said everyone gets a A. For the semester just work on trying to get the program to work
