I know it's a joke but some people actually think that its harder to install applications on Linux. But it's way easier thanks to the package managers on every Linux distribution. I would have said it's easier than Windows but now Windows have winget too... but still linux package managers do have more packages to install.

Linux also has Graphical user interface (GUI) to install apps and use browser to side load programs but linux users like command line interface (CLI) . And so windows has everything like this if you want to install apps using CLI, you can use powershell like winger and others

Well honestly doing it in CLI with keyboard looks cool and besides nowadays the GUI applications like Add/Remove Software come pre-installed and they work like any app store so its fine 😊. Man Linux is the coolest...kudos to Linus Torvalds.
