I always liked the alternative “evil” ending of _Revenge of the Sith_ video game, where Anakin/Darth Vader was victorious and assassinates Palpatine at the end, declaring himself Emperor.

This would’ve been a kick ass alternate version of Star Wars.

Bail and mothma would reorganise the empire into the republic and gain trust electing mothma into the new senate. They would expose palpatine to the galaxy and soon the people would accept the jedi once more. The clones would have been reorginized and had their chips removed.

I think there are many alternative timelines in the Star Wars univers that are way worse than Palpatine becoming the ruler of the galaxy. He only wanted that, to rule over everything, but there were beings in the universe at different points in time that didn't care at all about the galaxy or its people, and only wanted to achieve their goals

Yeah, in Star Wars apparently there are no security cameras or anything, in any place or in the Senate. That is, you can see that Palpatine was a Sith lord, Yoda will be priced for killing Palpatine, they will give Yoda a trillion BItcoins credits, and he will retire to a nice mansion

I have to disagree, if Palpatine was killed Obi-wan would have rescued Anakin the reason he didn't was because he sensed palpatine was coming to Mustafar and he knew he didn't have time to rescue both anakin and padme
