Several places on the northern stretch of Front Street have recently reopened, including the Cannery Mall, the iconic Old Lahaina Luau, and a few fantastic restaurants in the area. We'll be walking by these areas giving you a firsthand look at what's happening. Our journey will start near Mala Restaurant, then lead us south toward the Old Lahaina Luau, and finally, we’ll explore the Cannery Mall.

Keep in mind most of lahaina is still inside the burn zone and off limits to the public.

I just visited and MaLa is a wonderful and yummy place for breakfast. I recommend getting reservations. The Canary Mall had an art show on Saturday with many of the artists from Lāhainā and Front Street Aloha ❤

Many, many thanks for doing this video. Tiny baby steps towards recovery but it sure gives me hope. Looking forward to more updates!!

I love to see that the Cannery Mall is open again, definitely, they need some more customers. Good, that this part of Front Street didn't get destroyed, especially the Old Lahaina Luau. I miss it so much ❤.

Mahalo for the overwhelming support for our beautiful Lahaina town. We wanted to post a few charities that are available in case you wanted to help.. There are thousands of people and animals that have been displaced from the recent wildfires including an estimated $6 billion in damages with over 2, 700 buildings destroyed. 😔 Please consider donating to one or more of the charities below. Anything helps! Together we are #Lahainastrong

The Maui Strong Fund, run by the Hawai'i Community Foundation,  is accepting donations for necessities like food, clothing and shelter for families who have lost their homes.

The Maui Food Bank is accepting donations that will pay for meals provided to displaced residents in Maui.

The Maui Humane Society is seeking contributions to fund care for pets displaced by the wildfire.
