Photoshop (Beta) Generative Fill Deep Dive

For a guy like me who have been working with Adobe tools since Photoshop 3, even before the Illustrator or Indesign days, this is another (but even more amazing) tool. The hours I used to spend working on things that right now I can do in a few seconds with just a prompt is simply incredible. Appreciate this, Terry. Question — why do I not see the Generative Fill button on that toolbar? The last thing on the far left side of my toolbar is the Modify Selection icon/tool. I am on Beta 24.6.0.

awesome thanks again for sharing! Are you finding that removing the background ( the airport girl example) gives any better or same results as selecting the background but not removing it before doing a generative fill?

thank you for the video, do you know if there's a way to pin the contextual bar permanently next to the menu on top even when i close photoshop? working with things like retouching skin and the patch tool and working quickly, the bar get's in the way as it's always to close to the selection. simply pinning it, everytime can become a hassle, thank you for the help

Hi Terry. Great video of a fantastic new tool. I am using Photoshop with Windows 11. I did the selection with the rectangular tool, but generative fill is greyed out; therefore, I cannot type in what I want it to fill. Am I missing a step? Thanks again.
