This is very interesting. Explains the line cutting at Disney. Nude thing is so true. We have hot springs near us. Very awkward 😐.

Weird on the line thing. Germans are generally known for good order. On the nude thing I agree! In Munich there is a park called the English Garden and it is nude. Also on this trip at the Munich Hilton I had to walk through a health club where many were naked to a pool that required swimsuits. I was a confused American for sure!

Hi Morgan. My grandfather had an obsession regarding open windows in his home and I remember him scolding me when I was a very young child because I opened the window on a very hot night. I was told many years later that his obsession was due to him serving in both wars and he had a fear of a deadly gas entering his home which he believed would kill him and everyone else in his home. I never spoke to him about it because he passed before I was old enough to understand. Maybe this is more common than I thought.

These are probably only the tip of the iceberg about differences between Germans and Americans. Very funny video.

Als ich Kind war, hatte das Auto meiner Eltern keine Klimaanlage. Wir haben NIE im Sommer ein Fenster geöffnet wegen des „Zugs“!😂

I live in south Florida. We went on a dolphin cruise and there was a German family. They had two teenage kids. My husband turned around on the beach and was completely shocked to see the girl completely naked from the waist down while changing into her swimsuit. We laughed about it but later I thought that maybe someone should have politely informed them that you can get arrested for that here.

As soon as they start boarding a plane everyone gets up and elbows their way through. I was shocked the first time I was in Europe.
In Orlando, I’ve seen people get out of the hotel pool, remove the bathing suit, casually towel dry themselves, put on clothes and leave. Or occasionally sunbathe nude….families leave.
Asians don’t like wind or breezes inside either, but that had to do with bad spirits if I recall.

Well I'm here in Miami there's clouds but it's 85 almost 90° it's about the poor. Speaking of the Cross breeze both Cubans and Spaniards are obsessed by this also. I was in Madrid in August when it was 45° Celsius and they would only allow one window open in the entire apartment they had no air conditioning. If you open the second one and then like you said a breeze goes through you think tried to kill them.

My husband is German, he was born in Vienna, Austria and came to the US when he was 5. He is extremely patient, and will stand in very long lines for hours. What about their sense of humor? With my husband, it’s only funny when he tells a joke or story, not others.

Have your parents been to Germany to visit with you? And if so what did they say about some of these what we might consider weird practices or thought processes?

I went on a bicycle excursion from a cruise in Key West. I wore my cycling gear including taking my own helmet. I might do a cycling excursion on my next cruise in March in the Bahamas, and I would take my own helmet for that too 🤓

Where were you when you filmed this? Do you have a new screen or something, or are you trying out one of those youtube studios you can go to? Just curious. :) No guys walking around with at least their shirts off? THAT'S disappointing!!! lol!!

I do have a question about the lines. If everybody is trying to cut the line how how do you get anything done. I've noticed that down here in Miami I could spot a German tourist a mile away but there's a lot of people standing in line cuz they're from the states but how does it go when everybody thinks the line doesn't pertain to them?
