Would you illustrate more about the different types of retinol for different age groups, please?

That Neutrogena Retinol is amazing! I’m so smooth now. I was so scared of retinols too. It didn’t irritate my skin at all. ✨

I have extremely sensitive skin & my pharmacist told me to start by using it as a face mask & washing it off after a few minutes. It worked & I have finally been able to get my skin used to retinol without freaking out

She got me hooked on skincare. I'm using the e.l.f. retinol with zinc oxide on top and it works wonders and isn't too harsh. She's adorable and fierce and brilliant 💜

I’m so confused about retinols and retinoids and feel I need an entire video

I’ve used the L’Oréal retinol and niacinamide cream and it is incredible. I started off really slow and worked my way to nightly use, and I had minimal irritation. I made sure to use a light moisturiser on top.
I’m moving onto the L’Oréal retinol serum soon and so excited!

I use the Neutrogena one and I am 46 yrs old and I love it BUT, I cannot tolerate it every day. It’s actually strong for me and I get that light peeling and dryness on my chin and around my nose so I use it every other day and if I use an AHA serum one night, I take it easy on the products. I don’t even consider myself too sensitive. I also apply it on the tops of my hands at night. I wear SPF gloves for driving.

Omg the price tags on these are nuts. Start out with The Ordinary retinol in squalene for around $8-$9 dollars instead of $50. Then switch to a prescription like Tretinoin if needed (which is now available online) and will still be less than these over the counter brands.

OMG Thank you so much for this!! Seriously! I have extra sensitive skin and I started with a .2 cream formulation and it’s is fantastic. No one ever mentions this

Dr. Idriss, you have my sincerest gratitude. Your content on retinoids gave me the confidence to incorporate retinol into my skincare routine.

I am starting out with the Some by Mi 0.1% 😊 talk about scared, but confident, thanks to your advice.

I love Cerave's resurfacing retinol with licorice root. I have rosacea and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. After a few months I moved up to the prescription at .025% which I use about 2-3 times a week and it hasn't irritated my rosacea
