please more! I've the feeling i've been playing wrong for the past year because of my bad technique and hand positioning.

Also my fingers are "hypermobile" they kink backwards, you think that might be an issue or more practice should fix that?

My problem seems that i rest my arm on the body which gets my wrist into an angle whic i feel makes it hard to play fast octaves and stuff. Do you have anything on that? When i take my arm off and try to straighten my wrist i hit the string in a New angle which feels awkward and also my coördination is off because im not used to it. How should i approach thus problem ?

Is it okay to play when the left thumb pointed almost to the head? That's how I play, or at least always try to because it feels the most comfortable. But recently, the left side of my wrist, (while my hand is in normal position), has been very painful. Any recommendations?

I've been having an issue when I play further on the fret board that my arm can't seem to find a comfortable spot/ my elbow keeps knocking into my hip. Is there a remedy to this?

One question, what to do with my left thumb? at the back of the Neck of the bass, i have got two ways to place my thumb, either my thumb lays flat down at the Neck, what's more comfortable than the other way, i just Touch the Neck with the Second Phalanx of my thumb (don't know if it's right, i just googled it xD). with this Method i can play faster and more precisely, but after a few Minuten of playing the joint of my thumb Starts hurting. any tips for me? how do you place your thumb?
