Just because the rifle takes longer doesn't make it the worst weapon because when using the rifle to kill Pyramid Head your basically guaranteed not to get hit because you have the advantage of distance where as with the pipe you have to get up close and personal risking getting hit every time you want to get a hit off on Pyramid head.

Can you use the shotgun, to dual hit each one with a single shot? And does that lessen the amount of total shots for a kill (if that makes any sense)?
