An interesting point about Silent Hill:
Everyone sees different things, and while that is a well known fact, it both proves that Silent Hill has complete control of what you're seeing and that it's _choosing to aid you in your quest!_

It _doesn't have_ to give you health and ammo. It fights you harder the more weaponry you collect to fight it.

That implies, in some small way, Silent Hill _doesn't care either way!_ Either it traps you, feeding off your struggle for years without your knowing, or it gets something out of your redemption. Feels like "win-win" for the town, but it's still just going to bundle that energy up and throw it at the next person (which is why Pyramid head will make repeated cameo's, despite being a one person bad guy).

You leave your mark on the town, making it stronger the more it feeds

I just realised that Silent Hill is the friendlier, more positive version of the Warp.

You have better chances in Silent Hill than the Warp.

An interesting part of the game is where when you fight him during a boss battle, if you don't have any bullets than pyramid head won't attack you which symbolizes how the protagonist is now longer scared of him and has overcome his fear.

I'm a big fan of horror monsters/villains that, yes, are symbolic representation of the protagonist's fear/past/trauma or whatever, but are still very much Real and out to Get You.
