An easy yet delicious way to make a great clam dinner.

Ingredients:
50 clams
1/4 stick of butter
1/4 cup of Olive Oil
1 medium onion diced
1 tsp of Kosher Salt
8 cloves of Garlic minced
1 Tbs of crushed red pepper
2 Cups of Clam Juice
2 Cups of Dry White Wine
1/4 cup of Lemon Juice

Looks so good Di! I made mussels recently like this and I used chopped pickled hot peppers, garlic, a bottle of beer, and a can of coconut water. So tasty! My auntie has been known to throw in a jar of salsa and that is delicious too :)

What a lot of ppl don't realize is when you put alcohol in a hot dish it doesn't get you drunk that's why you should cool your dish before you add alcohol well if the dish works well when putting in alcohol when it's cooled

Reduce the sauce a bit. Turn off the heat and add butter. Then pour it over the clams. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top an a nice squeeze of fresh lemon.

Hahahaa! I can always depend on you to actually put in enough garlic. Not "a clove or two, " but enough to make a statement.

My thanks to the EverElusiveFrankie, a sneaky and slightly perverse entity I happen to have been subbed to for years, for holding a gun to your head and forcing you to make this. What a pot full of inebriated clams! I could dive into it and not come up for air until noon tomorrow.

Mind you, if I don't resurface by Tuesday, send help, Some of these big muvvas are mean...

You should throw out unopened clams or mussels because it means the were already dead before you cooked them, which is why they are unsafe to eat. At least that's what I've always been told.
