Firstly, I've always ironed collars *last*, not first. Secondly, there's nothing about how to get rid of a crease along the arms (for those of us who don't like them) by rotating by 180° and ironing the arms again, over the crease, nearly to the edges. Thirdly, starch spray keeps collars from going floppy.
