Innocent Until Proven Guilty? Innocent UNLESS Proven Guilty!

"Innocent Until Proven Guilty" does not emphasize a criminal defendant's presumption of innocence. "Innocent Unless Proven Guilty" is therefore a more accurate phrase -- and one that people should be using. A defendant is innocent if the State does not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt - that is when the jury can render a guilty or not guilty verdict. Hello, My name is Kendy Taylor < please help me or point me in right direction….

I would like my story to be heard and addressed.. My story is about an ongoing issue that happens to citizens daily and their lives are affected by our leaders' decisions.

I am a victim of the Unjust justice system and The public defender not defending and our leaders allowing their family and friends to influence their decision making

here in Webster Parish Louisiana. . My rights were violated in the court system. No intent, never presumed innocent, I was stereotyped, no proper counsel, arresting officer threw away

my personal property and had the booking process delayed, which meant delay in phone call, no lawyer to get bond reduction, bond very high and was not told bond

money was nonrefundable . Plaintiff has immediate family members in that law enforcement, and the judge denied me time to seek counsel. Was not allowed to

get motion off discovery. OUTCOME another American innocent citizen gets charged with a crime they did not do. : I CAN NOT GAIN EMPLOYMENTS< ALL MY

MONEY IS DEPLETED, I CAN NOT PAY MY BILLS ABOUT TO BE HOMELESS. ALL BEHIND INJUSTICE IN THE COURT SYSTEM AND PUBLIC DEFENDER.


The plaintiff is my former employer, which took over the place I worked here in Dixie Inn Louisiana. I worked for the previous owners for 7.5 years with no issues.
When this lady took over she kinded threatened us by saying" if we ever cross her we would regret it because she has friends in high places." Well didn't I learn that
the hard way. And what they charged me with was a device I would take off the back of the tower at work, and plug into the tower at home to edit payroll, without distractions. I have to do that a few times. Aloha POS .

What is justice? There is none. It is all about who you know and how much money you have. I have came across people, since this injustice has happened to me, were they paid off the D.A
and got away with crime. I feel like those authority leaders in the courthouse are nothing but criminals in suits and robes.and that i have been legally robbed in Webster Parish.

SO now my life is ruined and I have no means to live on or no one to turn to. What happened to LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. I believe now that the pledge of Allegiance should not be told in school, because it is not true .

please help in sharing my story which is a story of many Americans. The only Admedents people seem to care about is the right to bear arms.

It doesn’t matter how you say it bcus it’s not a real thing. A police officer arrests ypu and decides your charges and then you sit in prison for days, weeks, months before having a court hearing. How the hell is that ok? My 18 yr old son is being held without bail until his hearing. But he didn’t get to defend himself yet. He hasn’t been sentenced yet. How the hell is this legal????we are GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.

Does an affirmative defense shift the burden of proof to the defense? In which the state does not have to present any evidence you committed a crime they are charging you with?

Nice theory. Reality is quite different.

Really what you are saying is you're not convinced that the person is found guilty. That's still not the same as positing the person must be innocent. You need to suspend belief for both until proper evidence demonstrates guilt or innocence of that person.
