$250, 000 in 1970s money? I'd stop right there. Maybe try again a year later in a different country. But 5 days in a row in the same casino going up almost $1, 000, 000 on what should be a random chance game is begging to get caught.

?? Why did they need to do it five days in a row? That is the stupidest and most risky thing possible. If they would have spread their betting days over weeks or months, it would have been fine.

I'm always fascinated why Casino's are obsessed with scams and fraudsters when the Casino is the biggest scammer and fraudster of them all.

I don't gamble myself, but I'm totally fascinated by the technicallities of cheating.

They could bleed the casino for 1 million over 1 year, but they decide to try to do it all in a week. What's the rush? Trying to get home in time to watch M*A*S*H?

Carry one extra pack and then smoke it have the other in the pocket. How could this be overlooked

Why wasn't she smoking? Even if she wasn't a smoker all she had to do was force herself to smoke or have the pack hidden in her bag and just press the button. If she'd smoked they never would have been suspicious about the cigarettes

You'd think it'd be common sense to not hit the same floor 5 days in a row thinking they'd be totally fine with you walking out with a million dollars and not watching you the entire time.

Imagine someone walking into a casino with this device to rig the game and then using it only to find out that the casino is using a similar device at the same time to rig the game. It becomes a tug-of-war with the ball positioning 😂

About a hundred years ago, an intensive study of Monte Carlo roulette wheels found that some had a slight bias, which was exploited to give a moderate profit. Nowadays wheels are perfectly engineered and are frequently changed.
More recently, some American students learned to estimate wheel speed, ball velocity and point of impact. By means of hidden devices they fed this info into a (small) computer, which predicted the area where the ball might come to rest. Apparently, it did perform slightly better than chance, and may have given them a small income.
The most successful schemes are the ones we didn’t hear about.

Speaking as an engineer, a six gram robotic, remotely controlled ball would be a stretch in 2025, let alone using technology available in 1972. This is a load of BS. Someone kindly prove me wrong.

Its one thing for the casino to lose on roulette, but to lose to the same person night after night, that's impossible.

Just got this video recommended and your channel is really my cup of tea. Instant sub and like. I plan to watch every video you have. One micro feedback, no health warning on packs in 1973. Pall Mall on 3:39 is how they really looked back then. Not very important but I can see you strive for highest possible quality so keep up good work.

As interesting as these stories are on their own merit, I think that your presentation and storytelling are what makes me look forward to seeing each new episode. Well done once again.
