Here we go again, KarQ is back at it again, answering questions on /r/OverwatchUniversity.

Definitely inspired by WIRED's Tech Support.

00:00 - Intro
00:10 - Why is Widowmaker so popular despite having a consistently low winrate across all ranks?
02:11 - Is Lifeweaver actually bad?
04:06 - What counts as a "negated ultimate" for Orisa?
04:46 - Rein-Tracer-Reaper-Moira-Mercy on your team. Who should be pushing the payload?
06:15 - Zenyatta's orbs disappear... terrain between him and his target... is there some resource you know of that has all of these very important details documented?
09:09 - Is Ashe a good pick now that Cassidy's nerfed?
10:38 - Should you switch to the character that you don't play if they are the best choice?
11:57 - What comps do you think people will make with Juno?
14:10 - In your experience, what separates a gold/platinum from diamond and masters?
15:54 - How does Inspire work??
18:30 - Outro

not to bring up paladins in ow however many years later BUT. In the hero gallery for paladins you get a simple ability description of every character. But you also have the option to look at the actual extremely detailed ability descriptions. It tells you the cooldowns, the damage, the the fire rate of weapons, the healing done, the amount of shields, the dmg reduction % etc. You get all the details, overwatch could really use this.

When I was playing Juno, I saw her being really good with monkey. Having your monkey dive and shooting those missiles to heal him and damage the enemies worked well. It wasn’t as good as Ana nade, but it was much easier to use.

2:55 I think the reason people say lifeweaver is bad is not because he is actually terrible, but just because of how hard it is to rank up with him. At the end of the day, raw healing isn’t carrying games, getting kills and high damage will though. If you have trash dps, you can compensate by getting kills as a zenyatta or bap, but healing them as a lifeweaver won’t do much.

Having a advanced hero info screen is a must. Knowing how much dmg or healing a hero does, the fall off ranges for dmg, and other intricacies in their kit is very important information that can be useful to new and existing players.

Brigitte's Inspire passive activates whenever she deals damage to an enemy hero (including B.O.B. but not turrets) with her basic attack, or her damaging abilities. Once activated, Brig applies a Heal-over-time to herself and allies within 20m of her (in LoS, blocked by barriers). The HoT lasts 5 seconds and heals 15hp per second (75hp in total). Inspire's healing does not stack. If the HoT would be applied to an ally already benefiting from it, the new HoT's duration replaces the current one. Inspire has a hidden cooldown; once activated, it won't trigger again until its 1 second cooldown ends. When triggered, Inspire is indicated by a yellow burst that emanates from Brig, though its the visual effect is much smaller than the actual radius of the ability.

Brigs inspire still works when hitting wrecking ball mines.

I really hope they add the UI indicator that you have inspire buff. People should know they are getting healed.

Thanks for the brig advice, didn’t realize brigs radius was that big. Makes it easier to understand

My two friends and I were playing QP with my friend on Juno, myself on Lucio, and my other friend on Sym. We'd TP out of spawn, speed ring, and then amp. We won 3 games in a row just by being fast and taking good positions away from the enemy early on. (Mind you, this was just in QP with probably gold/plat matches, but still it was fun)

Juno made me comeback to game. I'm an old player, since ow1 beta. She is the first hero which seemed balanced from the start. Her skillset is great especially for player who played moira a lot. So I'm glad this game still surprises me

Inspire is supposed to activate inspire on mines and I think that’s a good thing cause the counter play for the ball is to boop the brig into the remaining mines while she’s sitting there swinging on them

The range of Brig's inspire is the same as Moira's suck. That's how I remember it.

I think high ranks have the most private profiles so probably the most skewed stats on overbuff

The way my friend (lifeweaver main) says it, is yeah a mercy res is super strong at times. But preventing them from dying with a good pull is even better

I plates a lot of Junkerqueen with Juno and Lucio and sure feels a lot like junkergoat... You Always go fast, Always are close combat and cycling mouvement + talking cooldowns. Felt great tbh!

Idea for these videos: show and talk about a couple of the (most upvoted probably?) comments in these threads. They might answer the question for you, so you can then discuss more questions in total. Or if you don't agree with their answers, you can then talk about that and give your opinion.
