This video will help you understand how to get free rooms when playing slot machines in las vegas. What are gambling comps? comps are anything the casino will give you for gambling, such as free rooms, free drinks, free cabanas. Understand what coin in is and how it is used. Who gets comps will make a lot more sense if you understand this. The same concept applies to all forms of casino gambling, such as blackjack, craps and roulette.

Yes, great advice. Don’t gamble for comps. Get comps because you budget, afford, and enjoy gambling.

Great video! This really helped me understand coin in and how I leveled up a tier without putting much money into a machine from my pocket. I just kept playing on my modest winnings and recycling the same $300-400 through over and over (I was just having fun playing and just kept doing it for about 4 hours). When I saw I had earned over 3000 points in that visit, I was really confused since I only spent $160… but now I understand that the machine saw the progressive wins and the replaying of some of that over & over as “coin in.” Thanks so much!

New subscriber! Great video. I played in the Borgata and went from Sapphire to Gold in a matter of 3 days there with $38k cycled. I charged everything to the room, I dont have a host, didn’t realize I could to the MGM awards desk before checking out to see if anything could be removed from the bill. Also, spent over $2k in the high end restaurant’s since I had extended family there.

I like to gamble at the Cosmopolitan. I also stay there so every time I gamble I put my players card no matter how much money I put I was there for Thanksgiving. I was gambling almost every day I was there came back, checked my identity account and they gave me three complementary nights with $50 identity play aside from the tier that I’m on I also got a comp night per year.

I play for points, their are machines that I call "point machines", so i seek those out when in Vegas, I avg about 1000-2000 base points per casino. If the casino is a $1 a point, I run up 1000 base points, I try to stay away from the high end $5 a point casinos. I normally try to get at least (5) casinos.

Can you explain how concierge can waive a bunch of charges?

That is some useful information to me. I like going to Vegas and I'll waste a bit on slots (not brave enough to try a table). But I'm confused about comps/tier reward credits.

If $5 worth of slot play gets me 1 reward credit - should I use my rewards card (Caesars) so they can track that spending? Or should I be more focused on just placing moderate bets and sticking around for awhile?

If you paid only a resort fee to stay in the hotel, concierge can waive that fee? Even if the room was comped?

They don’t usually comp gift shop room charges though.
