-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?

This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.

-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?

Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.

-How much yarn do I need?

Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

-What equipment do you use?

-What do you do for a living?

As an American, why do I understand and prefer British tutorials over American !?? Very insightful! As someone who likes to know the big picture of everything, it was pleasurable to learn the composition of a stitch. I really enjoy your way of teaching as I explore my new hobby. Thank you ❤

Great explanation’s, my grandma never explained this to me when she was teaching me. Thank you very much. I love watching your videos especially since I’m left handed and you show your stitches both ways.

Thank you so much for a much needed explanation. Being in Canada and following the US stitches, I once did a whole pattern using double crochet not realizing that it was supposed to be done in single because the pattern was British!! It actually looked better using double crochet. It was a pattern book from the 60's and nowhere it was indicated it was British terminology. Any idea why the terminology is so different? After many years crocheting, I can finally do a British pattern without having to rewrite it! Thanks again for the wonderful explanation.

Easy precise and clear!! And I learned it's called a 3rd loop. Many tutorials don't know what that loop is called. Thank you!!

When I had first started to learn to crochet I was doing blocks of double crochet and blocks of treble crochet in the same row. I was forever losing my place and getting very confused.
What I did find incredibly useful (when I started to get to grips with things) was
* telling the difference between a double crochet and a treble crochet stitch that is on the hook by counting the loops that go around the leading edge of the stitch
* telling the difference between a double crochet and a treble crochet by the length of the loops of the top of the stitch (only if you have good tension)

Hey :) I have been a subscriber for awhile:) Could you please teach us how to do amigurumi french fries (and the matching burger). The french fries box is so hard because every pattern out there requires knowledge of the back post stitch and nobody teaches as well as you do ❤️Please think about it 🙏
