Is Daphne Bridgerton in season 3? Phoebe Dynevor’s absence affects Colin and Penelope’s Love Story

I like the idea of the Bridgertons passing the baton for wholesome advice. First it was Violet to Daphne, and then it was Daphne to Anthony. It would be cool if it was Anthony to Colin for the next season.

I’m just hoping that they at least include the time gap between the two seasons bcs Penelope being a spinster was rlly important for her character to grow.. because in that time her mother let her choose her own clothes and she really grows into herself!

Sucks that some of the Bridgerton cast just constantly leave the show. I understand there being larger or other projects, but it's becoming such a continuous pattern in the show that it really jerks you away from the connection you feel with these characters. You spend episodes and seasons learning more about them and falling in love with them only for them to vanish in the next season, and it's really disappointing and ruins the experience. It also comes across as if the actors aren't truly dedicated to the show or character.

Daphne and Colin’s relationship in the books was so cute. I wish we saw it more in the tv show .

I understand the actors don’t want to give up other opportunities for a show they won’t have much screen time on, but I still think they should be finding some way to be in it at least a little. Even if they did one week of shooting a few cameos, otherwise the world feels even more fake, and I’m getting less attached to the show.

i want Anthony to tell him this, it would be cute to see more how Anthony becomes more personal with his family, especially bc he and colin are barely close in szn 1 and 2

Kate would be the perfect person to deliver this advice if that is the case. It would cement her place in the family and she already has the experience of being a big sister. Also, she once had the ambition of being a self-made woman herself, and she can be very observant, so I suspect there would be some scenes where she would watch the way Penn carries herself and admire that, so she would give him that advice with her in mind.

The Kate option makes sense actually. A letter would just seem kind of impersonal for such a pivotal moment in Colin's growth.
