Daphne's vibes changed so much this season actually, it's been a short time since the events of season 1 but she definitely seems more like a duchess now. I just think it's quite nice to see her growth from the innocent pretty little girl in season 1 to this beautiful, mature, and wiser wife and mother in season 2.

The whole season I just felt incredibly sad for Edwina, I feel like she deserved better. She’s so young and had a certain innocence/naïveté and this was pulled over her head so easily. I heard she was a lot more knowledgeable and strong-willed in the books, that she clearly knew about her sister and Anthony. I feel like the tv version must of made her plain and average as a foil to Kate, to make Kate seem even more “not like other girls” and outstanding than she already was.

Edwina didn't like Anthony in the books, she was a bit more of and intellectual and kinda knew something was up.
I hate to see hateful comments of her character as like "She was entitled and bratty" cause no, she wasn't. She was basically left at the altar, well she made the decision, but Anthony was the piece of shit in all of this and also Kate who thought Edwina would be better off with a man that didn't love her. The way the series portrayed the book was almost accurate until the proposal then all the character development went down the drain
