Unless you are a gym goer it's probably very hard to appreciate just how powerful guys like this are. By normal standards I80kg is a respectable deadlift for a guy of his size.

That was impressive. It's hard to imagine the work and effort he has put into his craft. What an inspiration.

i competed (amateur) in conventional deadlifting compettiion back in the United States (2017 or so).
In the under 180 lbs category (178 lbs body weight) i hit 515 lbs and got the podium.
I could sense electrical signals runnign down my spine, brain fogging up, vision blurry and a nose bleed.
This guy is 9 kgs heavier and cracked almost the same weight in clean and jerk and walks away with a celebratory punch.. MY

That's just insane power. Imagine walking into a gym knowing you're one of the strongest lifters and these guys are in there throwing weights over their head most people have trouble trying to deadlift. Yep, looks like it's a cardio day for me.

Its crazy to reach this lvl. Not only that insane power, but avoiding the risk of getting injured through all the hard work is a feat in itself

, He's5 '10 195 lbs and and to see what he's accomplished is mind blowing ! l I was watching him and observing his gaze, he's got a freakishly strong body but man I think he's got got an even stronger mind to do what he's done

Man, today I just cleaned a one rep max, bench at 275 lbs - to see him lifting and throwing an additional 200lbs pounds over my 275lbs over his head is just out of this world. Very impressive strength.

This fellow is a superb athlete. Not only is he strong, he has stamina and agility, a potent combination that enables him to get the weight moving upward, lifting even himself in that process, then dashing under the weight before it falls too far. Perhaps the greatest gift he possesses, is his mental strength.... He appears to me to lack intimidation of the heaviest weights, approaches the bar with extreme confidence and executes perfect form with every lift.
I hope to see more lifts by Li Dayin, I hope he is blessed with a long and healthy career !!

I really can't agree more with the other comment: you simply cannot grasp how hard he must have trained, how unbelievable what he has achieved, and how moving that moment really is, unless you work out. That last inch. That one last push. Breathtaking. Bravo. Mad respect.

And he bows at the end. What an absolute dominant athlete.

I have so much respect for olympic lifters. To be so strong & explosive, yet flexible & agile are such a hard thing to achieve

Hey guys Tian Tao has also snatched 180 at the 85 wt class. All he needs to do is put them together and he’s got 400 plus

The most impressive part of this to me was that he failed 475 on his first attempt and then hit it on his second. Absolutely insane mental willpower, not to mention physical strength.

Plenty of things to appreciate here, one is the insane display of strength and explosive power, one of the other things to note is the incredible hip and ankle mobility and the ability to lift the weight of the ground with shoes with raised heels

The velocity out of the bottom with 180kg is just astonishing
