When a guy truly likes you he does not play games: I.e - pulling back, hot and cold, breadcrumbing. If he is doing these things it is because he is unsure about you but still wants your assets. I feel like this should be the preamble to every ‘dark psychology’ ‘do this when he does this’ dating advise video. There is no hope of a relationship working out if he plays games. Place your hope elsewhere and do not give him the assets.
