Jay is the epitome of the advice that my mom gave me when I was very young. She told me, "You may not always be the biggest, strongest, smartest, fastest, or the best, but you can always be the hardest worker." Jay just doesn't quit and he has this infinite confidence in himself. He learns and then improves. After seeing this, you can see how much of an underdog he was. He had more downs than ups on the show. But he never gave up and look at him now! Truly inspiring!

tbh, it really hurt to see jay's journey on iland (for me, personally). he looks tough outside, but actually soft-hearted inside. ngl that's one of many reason I respect him (and made him as my bias since then). seeing him debut in enhypen and getting the recognition that he deserves, make me so prouud of him. I'm happy to see him with other members of enhypen. thank you for this video ♥️

when K was hugging Jay when he first came back to I-LAND and Jay said that Niki didn't make it back, that moment was so bittersweet to me. K was eliminated and did not make it into ENHYPEN, but he stayed in I-LAND the whole time versus Jay and Niki who were sent to GROUND and made it into ENHYPEN. Jay returned to K saying Niki didn't make it, but now all 3 are going to be doing projects and 2 have already debuted. These boys should be so proud of themselves because they all made it one way or another, and I know that they all care for each other, especially during that scene when Jay told K that Niki wasn't coming back. True friendship and real hard work, the respect I have for these guys.

I almost forgot how heartbreaking his journey was because of all the funny moments and memes he has. And I honestly really like that he didn’t let himself be remembered as a statue to pity on.

The reason he’s my bias is because he’s real. He isn’t one of those tsunderes or a ball of sunshine. But he manages being stubborn and honest while also being the mood maker he is. He just has the best personality, and I love him.

Jay truly had experienced the ups and downs on the show. It really hurts to see whenever he's been pushed down. Went from the top, bottom and then back to the top. It was truly a rollercoaster BUT Jay never gave up. His determination and his will to continue to stay strong was inspiring. No matter how much he wanted to be perfect, he still look after others and made sure for them to be the best of themselves. He knew their qualities and focused on others rather not just on himself. When I say he deserved to debut, he really does. We need somebody like that in the industry who is willing to keep their head high even through the toughest times. I mean, look at him now. I'm so proud of him. He's so talented, charismatic and could actually be an all-rounder.

I felt at one point they just thought that anyone was better than him when they picking the parts and he kept losing to the other although he put his hands up first. It was at the moment I said I am going vote for Jay any chance I got. I hate to be that person but if jay or niki wasnt in enhypen I wouldn't listen to music. I felt their passion more than anyone
