This Mazda SUV is the only manufacturer (save for Porsche) that feels unique (amongst the abundance of generic SUV's on the market) and has it's own character. Kudos to Mazda.

Drooling over the idea of this motor in a Speed3

@2:45 Those are luggage holders. When you place it beneath the luggage bag, it will hold the bag in place without moving in trunk.

Had the honor of renting a CX-90 for work a few months back; so damn comfy, spacious, great looking, feature-packed, and best of all, that thing can HAUL ASS!! I hustled it up and down the Taconic Parkway and let me tell you, it felt insane the things it can do...

Best designed interior on a mass market vehicle right now. It’s good to have a scroll wheel to control the infotainment while the competition makes you use the touch screen.

Everything in this video is accurate. These are a lot of fun to drive. I didn't know Mazda became a "fun to drive" brand. The steering and suspension are very tight. You can throw them into corners at speed and they stay firmly planted. They're very responsive. They sound incredible. I don't own one, but had the opportunity to daily drive one for one month. It was a lot of fun, and also very comfortable!

I loved to hear those squealing tires on the highway ramps in this video. Those are definitely F-U-N in a Mazda. 😂

I had just one complaint: the infotainment would disconnect from my phone if I left the vehicle turned on to run into my house with phone in pocket, AND it would not reconnect when I re-entered the vehicle. I had to shut off the car and turn it back on to get it to reconnect. Every. Single. Time. This wasn't a "one off."

Got a CX-50 ad before watching this video

Glad to see this car looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside. Would love to get this to replace my aging CX-5 but Mazdas are so well made and reliable that I probably won't need to replace it for another 5 years minimum

I would’ve much rather had the international CX-60 as the US market CX-70. The CX-70 essentially being a third row seat delete CX-90 was majorly disappointing. That said, it is still a nice crossover but it’s too big of a two row SUV for me to consider. I ended up with a CX-50.

The first generation CX-9 used Ford's 3.5 and 3.7 V6's, not a 4 cylinder. The second generation did use the Skyactiv 2.5 though, so that's correct.

I honestly really appreciate the model number disambiguation between this and a CX-90. On the used market, it often becomes a mild headache to discern the exact specs and features of an individual car, due to all of the available trim packages and various options. Having that made much more obvious and clear with the model number disambiguation leaves no questions down the road, not that any new car buyer or manufacturer would care.

I've never needed to drive more than 5 people. I want the cargo room! This is a beaut.
And the proverbial car enthusiast laments that we need a sports wagon, but if you've ever had haul stuff around you realize you dont want to crank your back and bend your neck to access your cargo. Yes there is an area between an F150 and a Golf.

I imagine those things in the trunk are like book ends to keep things still, if you have a large box, place those on it's sides, and the bottoms will grip the trunk mat

I really like the interior of this car.

Test drove one and absolutely loved it. But ended up with a cx5, we are expecting our first snd cx5 felt like logical upgrade for gti. The price to value with the cx5 is insane, I get why they sell so many

Definitely sounds much better than the Hurricane engine.

Those things in the back are cargo blocks - they hold items in place. Don't underestimate the cleaning nightmare you'll face with a light-colored alcantara dashboard.
