What are 'Never-Die' SSDs?

In today's video, we talk about Samsung's brand new 'Never-Die' SSDs.

1733 and 1735 are Samsung's brand new datacenter SSD's which take advantage of three new innovations, fail-in-place (FIP) technology that ensures an SDD can "never die."

These are also the first SSDs from Samsung that will take advantage of the PCIe gen 4 interface, which has double the bandwidth of PCIe 3

There are 3 main software innovations that make these SSDs such a big deal: Fail-in-place technology, virtualization technology, and V-NAND machine learning technology.
