i followed the process the first time with WD40 and the oil stains lifted, but spread out. I believe there was also some residual staining from the WD40. I then performed the process again this time without the WD40, only working in the baking soda then
using Costco brand dish washing liquid. Happy to report the oil stains are completely gone & no damage to the coloring or texture of my medium grey chino pants. Definitely worked for me. Thank You!

"get the baking soda and just sprinkle it on there." (dumps the whole box on it.)

Wow! I had about given up on any hope of removing a buttery, greesy stain on my favorite pair of pants but this method really works! I am amazed! Well worth the shot! Thank you so much for this video!

Massive thanks from across the pond! I thought I had wrecked my new Hugo Boss top with cooking oil. This worked a treat :)

I will be trying this on some shorts and a shirt I just got oil on.

Did you know WD40 was originally only made as a rust remover?

Just used this on my favorite hoodie after washing and drying a popcorn oil stain into it and it worked perfectly! I was pretty skeptical.

I've been trying to figure out something to get crusty pit stains out of my white undershirts and I wonder if this might work.

Thanks for the helpful hint. Your voice is nice enough that you do not need a high-energy jig playing in the background. Consider eliminating the music next time around. Thanks again.

I bought a tommy hillfiger jeans for like 850 and i got stains on the back and front. I saw this and tried it. There is no signs of stains anymore. It was motor oil or some like that

Is this safe with every color of clothing?

Too scared to try this on something I think I might salvage. Maybe when I get frustrated enough to throw the shirt out.

Will this work for oil stains that are dried in due to the dryer?

I hope I'm gonna use you technique, because at work at a pastry and sometimes I get dirty with oil.But what is WD-40? It rings a bell to me.

This is a nice method but it’s a lot of scrubbing for an oil stain.

Just tried to remove a penny sized olive oil stain from my new clothes using this method, I ended up with two large new stains, I feel the new stains are from the WD40 and not from the original oil.

I did all the instructions like in the video, I even repeated the whole process twice and ended up with even larger stains this time around!

Any idea what could've gone wrong and how to fix it?
