Lost Highway in Forest near Eufaula, Oklahoma

Welcome to Beyond Civilization. Today, we’re going to explore an abandoned stretch of highway that’s now being reclaimed by the forest, and which even dips right to the bottom of a dark, murky lake. Near the town of Eufaula, Oklahoma, lurk many hidden historical secrets, including an abandoned resort, a lost ghost town that sits at the bottom of Lake Eufaula, and this crumbling, overgrown stretch of Highway 69 which veers off the active highway, and into the woods, before dipping right down into the watery depths of the lake.
