So what do we think?!

And I made a mistake! 😂 the first line, it is meant to be 53, 000 photos 😂😂 after a week of putting this together and little sleep, call me an idiot 😂 sorry!

I have A1, A7SIII, and just upgraded my beloved A7RIV to the A7RV, . With the recent USA Sony rebates and trade-in credits of $900 USD plus the trade-in value of my A7RIV, I got the A7RV for a very good price. So for me, a pro of nearly 50 years in the business, it was a good, timely and affordable move, and worth it for me for my professional and personal work. I will use all its features for sure. Cheers and thanks for your videos.

Ive had my A7R5 since day 1 of its release which is almost a year. Ive shot a combination of wildlife and portraits. Outdoors and studio. Ive also shot two short films on it...tentatively and am now about to embark on a wildlife film along with a book aided by some great advice from Danny. What people may want to think about is buying a A7R5 is never ever going to make you a better photographer, as that comes from a combination of what you have within, what you have learned and from gained experience. What it does give you is power and adaptability to get those shots you may have missed in the past. I love my A7R5 for its power in helping me to realise my ideas. Auto focus and having 61MP for wildlife and the ability to crop is huge. Birds in flight...no problem with the A7R5. Im not new to Sony having moved over from Canon in 2015 when I got my A7R2 which in its own way was a bit of a game changer, my previous camera being a 5Dmk2. Dont get caught up in kit thinking ...if I only had....use and get the most from what you have. This is where input from Danny is invaluable as he helps, through his comments and advice for you to get the best from your camera. Getting the best from.... thats up to you.

Starting my photography business this year with the Sony A7IV and Sony A7RV. This will be an epic duo paired with GM and third party glass like the Tamron 35-150 f/2-2.8 and Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG DN.

Opening line, 5, 300 photos, or 53, 000 photos? 😉 Great video! Interested in seeing what other camera(s) you would prefer to shoot with over the a7RV. I love mine! (minus the crop in 4K 50p)

Love my you made me buy (sort of) LOL. But it does make my A74 seem rather redundant. I should swap it for the A7S3 (because I so want 4k 100fps) but the 100fps on the A7R5 is very good. But having switched from Lumix GH5's a couple of years ago I still long for super smooth gimbal free video shooting. The A7R5 is close but still a bit jerky in comparison to my old GH5's (of course due to full frame).

I recently bought a Viltrox 75mm 1.2 and since it is a APSC lens, it puts the A7RV in crop mode which is still 26mp which is fine for most situations.

Just ordered mine, upgrade from a77ii, for what I do now, a7iv would probably worked out, but for the money, I chose to future proof my self for hopefully the better part of the next decade .

friend good night. I'm still a beginner in photography, but I would really like to invest in this camera. Which lenses would you recommend I buy? Is there somewhere I could study more about this so I can take better photos with this camera? thank you very much!

In my opinion a potential magnificent camera acting as a bag of somewhat better organized fuzzy functionality vs A7R4a . Overall the lacking of an engaged factory support in user friendliness shows. The AI AF lacks updates after over 1 year and the choice for CFA memory not justifiable at pricepoint & speed. Sensor and viewfinder are great but the yield could have easily been much much higher resulting in even better pictures my opinion. I wonder if Sony Ambassadors have a meaningful role in feeding back customer input. Update policy and overall support do not reflect that in my opinion.

Hi - Thanks for the video. I have an A7R5 and it’s a beast. I need a Hybrid BCam for the events to use 50mm 1.4. Do you think it’s better to get another 7R5 or A74? I’m planning to take both photo and video.

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Sony system for my personal work (outdoorsy stuff) and the A7r seems the perfect choice. I need to know though, are you running into any softness from the sensor out resolving the lens ? I currently use Fuji XT5's and have sold off a lot of lenses that can't cope with the resolution. Now I just use - happily - the 28 1.4, 56 1.2 WR and 80 macro for most things. These lenses go well with the sensor. I have Canon R 5's for work, and had considered just sticking with that as they make good images, but Canon lenses are mostly heavy and clown sized compared to the Fuji's and there's not a good range of primes. Are you happy with all your lenses @ 61 MP ? Cheers for the video.
