Now that I think a bit more, my school has an entire after school “club” for lgbtq+ people, maybe I could talk to one of the managers about trans stuff :). Thanks for making this video!

Well, I wish I had a guide like this when I was in high school. I'm supposed to go on with Uni this october, so at least I could try my luck there! Thanks Matt

I been questioning my sexuality when I was in middle school and highschool and I finally came out to my parents and family and friends that I was gay and was so hard for me because I didn't want my mom hate for me being Gay and losing my friends

Thanks for talking about bigender! I am a bigender ftm trans human and I don’t hear people talk about bigender. Not even in queer spaces. I’m so glad you talk about it on your show Matt!

I had my open house for school today and I meant my social studies teacher, she had a progress pride flag hanging in her room as well as a rainbow that had different pride flags on it :)

started coming out to people without knowing all the nice tips. happy to hear i'm on the right tracks.

btw. while figuring stuff out, listening to other's experiences and hanging around the community i've noticed some weird things. like, it's whatever if some 'phobe says something - their opinion doesn't matter to me... but when the fellow queer does it - i care, i feel insulted, i want to jump in a petty internet argument. i have bad thoughts - those meanies make me feel "broken" again (and the public bias is on their side. i'm aroace with libido, if it matters). should i even continue identifying as i do rn if so many people in community say it isn't valid and also claim i offend them and "ruining the community"? i know every letter has this kind of people.

sorry for the long vent, but are there by any chance some videos with cool lgbt professors destroying exclusionists with fax and logic?

I'm in my last year of highschool in Hungary. Last year before I met my boyfriend I made arrangements with a good girl friend of mine to be my "girlfriend" for prom night. On paper she's who I'm going with but in reality I'm giving an invite to my boyfriend and coming out with him in front of the class. Before being in a relationship I didn't feel the need for coming out but now that I have someone in my life I wanna come out, I want to talk about my boyfriend like how others talk about their girlfriends (but with more respect about private stuff)

I thought I made it extremely obvious at school yet most of my classmates never get the message

I first told friends at school i was 8. I came out to my parents when i was 12, and they're not accepting. They've even become more phobic, and it's not fun. I've been homeschooled since 7th grade and im trying to go back to school for highschool. Im watching these videos so i can find ways to come out to my teachers the easiest when i go back to public school because im ready for everyone to know. Im tired of hiding. Everyone ive known since 3rd grade, will know, and that's fine.

Thanks for giving me a smile again. It's hard being trans in a transphobic college.

Being "Streight" was a phase for us. Also, when I become a teacher I'd be a openly Trans elementary teacher

15:54 yea in Florida when I went to drop my little sister at school. I saw one of the teachers tried to removed my sister rainbow bow from her hair. She started screaming my name I ran to filmed the whole thing.
I was 10 sec away from being banned from her school. Because i filmed it they told I had deleted it. Lucky I saved 2 copies of it and act like I did. That teacher is not allowed to be near my sister anymore.
She had where bows seen she was 3 no one had ever a problem with her bows

Lesbian doesn’t necessarily mean „woman loving woman“ it also can mean „non man loving non man“ and gay can also mean „non woman loving non woman“

This is going to depend on the exact laws and attitudes towards LGBT in your local area and even country.
