I don't need a 1 inch sensor in a action cam, good luck with rolling shutter if it would be 1 inch and also you get a mutch lower depth of field which is not a great thing on a action camera, but the HLG is a really big win, nearly all ios devices can play these footage in real HDR!

This is the nail in the coffin for gopro. Who the heck wants a macro lens for their gopro. If this preview is accurate, gopro just put themselves out of business. They seriously needed a home run with the 13. They sure dropped the ball

I almost bought a 360 Ace Pro several weeks ago, but put the money aside and decided to wait for the hero 13. I have an 11 black and want something that records nice night motorcycle rides around town. If this leak is accurate and there is STILL no good night time recording … I will be using my saved money and buy a 360 Ace Pro. I’m not waiting another year until hero 14!

So nothing new in the camera basically other than a macro attachment... Kinda have started hating gopro at this point. What are they even doing with their RnD?

I use a GoPro Hero 12 for recording my drives, but the camera often overheats. To tackle this issue, I have to remove the battery and connect it to a dedicated power source to get 45 minutes of recording time. Additionally, I direct air conditioning towards the unit to help cool it down. It would be great if GoPro could design a studio-type camera with a fan specifically for this purpose. I understand that GoPros are primarily action cameras, but there aren't many other small camera options for car use, unless I opt for the BlackMagic studio cameras, which are more advanced than what I need.

Dji introduces cameras before GoPro and if Dji introduces Osmo Action 5 after Gopro with a 1inch sensor it's over for Gopro.

I used GoPro for 8 years…and then I purchased an Insta360 because I wanted to try their 360 camera. This one purchase caused me to sell all my GoPros and move completely to Insta360 because their software is so much better!
