Honestly they both have the same chance of surviving the remaining life of the tire.

As a commuter I do over 100 miles a day every day and I’ve never had a plug give me the slightest issue

5$ plug vs 65$ patch...no need to say more.
With plugs being so reliable, easily available and fairly inexpensive, unless your a mechanic with the available tools and time, it's a no-brainer.

Yeah the patch is superior but a lot more expensive and honestly between the money you will save and specially the time you will save, I will always go with the plug if you have the ability and tools to do it. You can do the repair anytime, anywhere and keep on going…instead of waiting until the next day, get tow, look for a shop, wait until they can see you and pay lots of money…the plug is definitely the way to go!!!

Never a fail with a patch. Some plugs fail. Plug gets you going

Nice video. IF i was broke then the patch but always a new tyre as it's not my life i'm worried about but other people's on the roads whether it be other road users or a passenger in mine.

Depends on the plug you use. Pro Tech plugs are the best imo. Will be just as good as a patch because it the vulcanizing fluid mets the plug into the rubber. Been using them for over 10 years and I stand by them.

Patch Plugs are better. Plugs are easier but not always 100 percent. I would have to patch the plugs if it was leaking on occasion when i was working at Firestone. But it gets the job done

As long as the tire is like new condition the Tire Rubber Plug will hold for 12, 000 miles

Anecdotal opinion... plugs work just as good, but patches are superior. There is no wrong choice.
