Veterans exposed to toxic fumes from burn pits on military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan say they’re facing a rising rate of breast cancer at home. And they say that’s not their only battle – getting the VA to provide benefits to treat it hasn’t been easy. CBS News' Natalie Brand reports.

I was part of a clean up crew at a closed down army ammunition facility. they had like 30 shallows water wells drilled ever where and the liquid coming up was dark yellow.. When they used the burn pits for waste ammunition items, rocket fuel we had to get out and behind a lock chain link fence and you could feel the burn on your face from 60 yards away..

interesting that this has been a topic of discussion for decades and it's not until a group of women pop up with problems that it actually gets some attention.
