The US Supreme Court has rejected President-elect Donald Trump's last-minute bid to halt his sentencing on Friday in the criminal hush-money case.

Trump had urged the top court to consider whether he was entitled to an automatic stay of his sentencing, but the justices rejected the application by 5-4.

Trump was found guilty of falsifying records to disguise reimbursements for a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels as legal expenses in 2016.

Justice Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case, has indicated he will not consider a jail term for Trump.

My business law professor back in 2018 was so flabbergasted by the hush money issue, he was certain it would wreck Trump’s career. And this guy was a republican I’m very certain, he said it was very historic for all the wrong reasons. If Trump was any other person, he’d never be POTUS.

isn't it weird how every judge in every one of his cases is conflicted and biased, except the one or two who were appointed by him and have ties to him?? those are the only unbiased and trustworthy and even when cases go to a seperate court (like to the appeals court or to the Supreme Court) and they back up what the first court said, those judges are apparently still biased and wrong
