Update on the conflict in Ukraine for September 15, 2024…

- Ukraine’s incursion into Kursk has predictably begun to collapse as overextended troops are unable to sustain combat operations against better equipped Russian forces;

- Ukraine’s defenses along the line of contact also continue to collapse;

- Washington continues transitioning toward proxy guerrilla war against Russia as Ukraine and its Western sponsors continue losing in terms of conventional warfare;

When Kursk was first launching I was talking about it with a few friends who have some actual knowledge about how the military works, and a couple of them were absolutely adamant that Kursk was a good move, with their reasons ranging from "It'll raise morale" to "It'll force the Russians to the negotiating table". They wouldn't accept any counter arguments, not that the Ukrainians losing another 1000+ men in the eventual Kursk cauldron in another failed offensive at a time when the front line was buckling would not be a great morale boost, or that the Russians have shown they are unflinching when it comes to territory and that invading Russian soil would achieve the exact opposite of pushing negotiations and would in fact in sure negotiations would never happen.

It's depressing to see that, even in an age of boundless knowledge and information to draw from, people will still continue to deny reality and believe propaganda. Human beings will never ever change.

I’ve seen report that Ukraine towns are falling apart because all men were sent to front. Electric, plumbing, water, etc. Father winter is coming. I see a collapse of Ukraine govt before the Russian.

As soon as the former Soviet Union pulled out of East Germany, the West began pushing east towards Russia.

NATO lost the war in Afghanistan, now they're showing how tough they're in Ukraine. But, they're loosing badly there also.

Let me ape a typical NATO troll post: "You forgot to report that Zelensky was seen successfully advancing on his stomach toward a strip of white powder...A major victory for democracy and human rights in Eastern Europe!"

Discuss the lunacy that some politicians think that we can win a nuclear war against Russia.

Brian is someone that actually does an analysis, unlike the mainstream media who are paid to write fictional stories.

Calling the Kursk adventure a success is like calling NATO a defensive alliance

Let's be clear, the out come is predetermined. The longer it drags out, the higher the cost will be to Ukraine.

The Ukrainians wanted to capture the Kursk nuclear power plant and hold it for ransom. The Ukrainians would have used the plant as bargaining chip to force the withdrawal of Russians troops from Ukrainian territory. In essence, it would have been nuclear blackmail. Zelenskyy would have threatened to blow the plant up if Russia did not surrender. No doubt the Russians in turn would have threatened to nuke Kiev or Lviv if Zelenskyy carried out his threat.

The same sort of people laughing for 80 years about U. Wacht Am Rhein / Battle of the Bulge are now celebrating Ukraine for doing a worse variety of that doomed tragic offensive ....
