King Koopa Orders a Pizza (Or, The Most Necessary Scene in Film History)

That sigh of exasperation you hear around the 0:04 mark is the collective sigh of all the disappointed, distressed, and disgruntled Mario fans who saw this Yoshi turd of a movie.

Contrary to what the Nostalgia Critic thinks, I thought this was actually a pretty funny scene.

don't know why so many people jump all over this scene. The humor comes from the him being an evil reptilian ruler and still doing an everyday ordinary thing like ordering a pizza. Everyone has been in that situation too. Waiting on a delivery that takes forever.


Nothing in the film should be taken too seriously and a great deal of things can be excused or explained once you realize in this world, this is Mario and Luigi's origin of how they became Super and the video games we know are based on the events of this film.

Two plumbers run, jump and duck their way through a mushroom kingdom trying to save a princess from an evil reptilian ruler. The final film is a bit of a mess in a lot of ways but it was an ambitious mess that thought outside the box!

Also there was a deleted scene to end of pizza gag: when mario and luigi killed bowser and bowser turned into slime pizza kar komes in and pizza girl drops the pizza on bowser slime/corpes

People need to stop using this for a punching bag, this movie is quite good if you remember what "Based on" means. :P

Besides, it's way better than the original anime movie.
