There is an option to follow the perimeter back to the charging station. Tap icon in top right on the app and look towards the bottom of that menu. Select the Robot tab. You can set it to "direct path" or "follow the perimeter."

This should fix that for you. Unless this only affects the path it takes to recharge and not after a completed task. But it should do what you set it regardless.

Honest review from a Luba 2 owner.

This machine will require babying and troubleshooting in the beginning. I don't think an elder person should own this.
China still sucks in customer support, I hope they can fix it. If something doesn't work, you are on your own to surf reddit to find solutions.

But after setting it correctly, well it works flawless.
I wish they would be listening their customer feedback to improve the software.

Option: Leave charging station 1.5 meters if satalites can't be fixed.

Everyone prefers the charging station next to their house wall hence poor connection. This option would solve the issue.

I have 2 Luba 1 models. The 5000 and a 3000.

I have a new Yarbo coming in October to take over, and the Lubas will be backup mowers and only help out on side jobs or to get the jobs done faster.

My 5000 is eecently went back to Mammotion to get an axle fixed that broke, but they told me water got inside and was too bad to replace and would have to send me a replacement. Unfortunately, they told me they don't currently have any in stock, so I'll have to wait until they get one to send me. Then, when that comes back or when the Yarbo arrives, whichever comes first, I'll have to send the 3000 to them for an accordian mower module seal that has a puncture hole. These seals are rubber, but there is no rough coating, so they aren't that durable, and a stick can get wedged in there and make a whole as mine did.

At the moment, if you have a large and complex yard with hills, Yarbo is likely the best. And it is for sure the best for multi-purpose uses, as it will also show blow my driveway in the winter.

Either way, if you have the money, I recommend a Yarbo. Their customer service is also superior to Mammotion.

Had me sold until I found out u can’t replace battery. When the battery is dead so is the machine. Great video though.

I like it but still am probably going to wait a bit. They need to engineer the next version to be very user serviceable with great parts support. Even if it is a big redesign it will save them from having to establish local dealer networks. Most people spending this amount of money are concerned about uptime. There really isn’t any reason why it can’t be made to be serviceable like my push mower or steamdeck. Make it modular and upgradable and they will own the market. People will pay for the quality and ease of repair.

Love the videos! Out of all the robot mowers you have had the pleasure of reviewing, which is your favorite for the yard like your friends in this video?

How would you compare the Luba with the "Yarbo" for larger lawns with a higher cut?

I would love to have one. My land is very diverse, and my vertabre is degrading. It would be awesome to have one of these.

Most lawns don't look like yours, do you have an unleveled lawn that you can run this on. Some with high and low areas etc.

After watching dozens of videos about this machine, it's always the same thing: it's great, it's brilliant, blah blah blah... In short, it's the best... And every time, they're sponsored videos with machine loans or donations... But what about after-sales service? No idea (looking it up on the net, it doesn't seem the easiest thing to do)? What about long-term reliability? Idem: no idea... What about battery life after 1 or 2 years? Same answer... Mammotion seems to have quite a big marketing policy on YouTube with lots of machine 'testers'. Let's wait a bit for some honest reviews...

Sup man! Just had a question for ya. I’ve recently had a new septic system where some of the fill they used that was mixed with the loam is full of rocks, then seeded in the midst of the summer. I was surprised to see some of the seed germinate but it’s definitely gonna need some help. I’ve cleared out a big portion of the larger rocks but there’s still more to come I’m sure after I keep watering.I’m kindve on a budget so I was wondering if the easiest method would be to just buy one of those compost spreaders I’ve seen you used mixed with seed for the best possible result? Seems like a better shot at seed to soil contact even when it’ll cost more for less. Help if you can! Thanks!

No one covers it needing a SIM card, what is its purpose,
Aslo doe the RTK station need powered constantly, if I lose power from a storm does the route need reprogramed when power is reestablished so the mower and RTK unit know where each other are ?

WARNING I bought the Yuka in July with bagger/sweeper for $2500. It was stolen in October while mowing the front lawn. The anti-theft tracking is powered by the same power source as the mower so they were able to disable the tracking simply by powering the unit down. It was offline in 10 seconds. Since this is a defect in design and obviously still covered by the warranty I asked for another one. Mammotion said no but they said I could buy another one. Don't buy this unit. Other manufacturers have separate power sources for tracking.

Nice update, although I'd liked to have seen a demo of the LUBA 2 pattern cutting such as cutting designs into the lawn versus just striping. The Stars & Stripes for the 4th of July or putting in things like "Happy Birthday wife/daughter" or other messages would be awesome.

Still REALLY looking forward to more updates on the robotic reel mower for my Zoysia lawn. If it had GPS/RTK, I'd have already paid into the startup. Being able to mow at night and keep straight enough for better stripes would put me over the edge to making that purchase. That 6, 000 sq. ft. limit based on light is a little too low for this unit to work for my ~14, 000 sq. ft. lawn. My degree is in electronics so I wonder why they don't put some kind of powerful LED on the mower to allow it to better cut in dim light or even at night. Watching this reel mower design for updates.

Been watching you for years your content is awesome but dated. I know you have to do these videos to keep the lights on. Will we be seeing any of your current regiment of your weed killing that you do now? Thanks again for being awesome and incredible informative on every video you do.

i think you missed a spot. best to nuke it, level, aerate, reseed, then lather on some propeat. water hourly at a rate of 1000 gal/min and you should be good to go.
