Quand j'entends la Klipsch, je me dis : "ouah c'est pas mal". Mais quand j'entends la Aria derrière, j'ai envie de pleurer tellement la musique rentre en résonance avec mon corps. Incomparable, la Aria est fantastique.

The comments just go to prove that every ear has their own preferences, one speaker is not "better " than the other. A speaker may cost more to design than the other, but in the end its all about how the consumer interprets the audio.

The Klipsch sounds more light and airy on most of the tracks. The Focals seem more subdued. However, on the male vocals, the Focals sound much more natural while the Klipsch sounds grating at times. I thought Focals were supposed to lean on the bright side. Sure didn't seem like it on this demo. Overall, I prefer the Klipsch. More exciting and detailed on most of the tracks.

For the people who think that focal sounds muffled compared to klipsch because of the mic placement this is not true.

I was planning to buy them and listened to many many demos and they always sound muffled in many different scenarios.

Klipsch sounds very bright and in your face, probably because of different materials (metal vs soft materials). This is also the reason why I don't want to buy klipsch, I think they capture you in the moment but you would get fatigued pretty quickly listening to them. I like something softer.

Way more nuance and texture on the Focal. And yes, I always thought the Focal sound signature was treble forward. Not the case here. Klipsch has more clarity and shimmer. Almost too much at times, but I would go with the Klipsch any day.

I'm a 50/50 on some tracks Klipsch is more lively than focal but focal is more relaxing and less fatiguing I think I'll keep the the Klipsch.

Focal is better. Especially in jazz demo. The male voice was very thin with Klipsch. With Focal it sounds miles better.

Para mi las focal son increíbles lo bien que suenan unas cajas maravillosas no tienen que envidiar a cajas mucho más caras, gracias por esta demo. 👏👏👏👏

Listening through good headphones Focal Aria is on another level. That Klipsch can compete against Focal Chorus but not Aria.

Interesting the diversity of opinions. Just shows how subjective audio is. For me the Klipsch killed it in most tracks. The sax on the 2nd track was so dynamic and live with the Klipsch. It had that realistic, guttural edginess. I felt I was sitting at a jazz club. The Focal was subdued and almost muffled in comparison... as if someone put a cloth over it. It was a closer call on voices.

So I'm just expressing my preferences. I like an exciting, dynamic, realistic sound. The Focal is an excellent speaker but too polite for my tastes. Out of these two I'd be taking the Klipsch home.

Music should be an emotional involvement and I'd get that with the Klipsch. With the Focal I might get bored and go to sleep.

I really wanted to like the Focals but geez, that does NOT sound like a saxophone. The sax can be smooth but if you've heard one live! up close there's supposed to be a bit of an edge to them. Klipsch wins that one.

But then came male vocals and man did the Focals come back to me. Great sonority and presence. Female vocals was about the same for me but I give the slight edge to the Focals for that really pleasing sound.

On Farandole (classical) the Focals are bass heavy and boomy compared to the articulate light sound of the Klipsch on the tympani. Probably the Klipsch was more accurate but since I don't know what the original recording was supposed to sound like, this one is a tie.

No objective opinions here, only subjective. The shootout winner truly belongs to whichever genre one prefers, male vocal, female vocals, jazz.

I give the slight edge to the Klipsch RP-600M overall not because of the speaker but because of what I like. Classical and jazz, heavy on the brass sections. Honestly though whichever speaker one takes home you'll get used to it and love it.

Depending on what type of music you listen to in my country, focal points are worth more than twice that of klisch, I stay with klipsch, I don't dislike them, they sound better, focal points for sure

Focal 👍🏻, живой, приятный звук для длительного прослушивания.
Здорово с Marantz HD-AMP1.

These are not near field monitors and therefore due to very different dispersion characteristics, they will not compare the same from typical home listening distances.

Mic pointed at Focal woofer. On klipsch the mic is in between woofer and horn

You can make the sound coming out of the any speaker because speaker just the speaker what you put in there is up to you. So if you don't know what you put in your speaker go by what you like. 😊

That's kind of close for recording? Some speakers would have trouble summing correctly at such distances I think
