I love Klipsch, and can only speak for myself, but they combine a nice look, a fun (very "American") attitude, a rock and roll/movie friendly sound that is really dynamic (but can still sound incredibly "live" and subtle), and perhaps above all, they're not overly expensive. It's many people's first speakers, reliable overall, maybe not the most high quality audiophile grade products ever, but a step into that world, and if you lean more rock/acoustic you may not even care. I think that first impression is a huge thing though: the ATTITUDE. They scream "I'm fun, I'm rock and roll, I'll shake your house but give you some beautiful moments as well".

I just replaced my Polk SDA tower speakers with Klipsch RP-8000F II tower speakers. Along with their SPL-150 Subwoofers crossed over at 60 Hz, they have advanced the sound coming out of my AV room with a louder, cleaner playback, and are easier for my NAD amp to drive. With a good 'bang-4-the-buck' value, I recommend Klipsch loudspeakers!

I think Klipsch hit a sweet spot for Rock/Metal music as well as great for movies and tv. I'm and old guy who has suffered some hearing damage over the years. I find the extra brightness to help me hear the highs and voices. I have enjoyed hearing the things most speakers soften too much. I was really struggling to hear voices in movies and tv shows, I bought a pair of kf 28 towers and a Rc-62II center channel speaker and the difference was life changing.

BECAUSE EVEN THEIR "MODERATE PRICED SPEAKERS " CAN CREATE A PRETTY IMPRESSIVE HOME THEATER FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY.

I really love the Klipsch KSP-300 and KSP-400 speakers. They have become some of my favorite speakers for various reasons. Inexpensive used, real compression driver, built in powered subwoofers for great low end running them in full range, and the woofers sound natural. I prefer them over heritage for general listening because they have better off axis response than a lot of those other Klipsh. I have noticed that the tweeter roll off early so I boost 16kHz, however, it is a small trade off for the pleasant response as well as the nearly flat group delay across the 100hz to 20kHz area which is really cool. I think that's why they have a certain realism.

From what I’ve seen from multiple reviews, the Klipsch RP series is geared more towards home theater. The Heritage lines are geared more towards music. The majority of reviews typically use music to test them vs using movies. I have a full Klipsch RP 11ch setup for my home theater, and I use the RP600M’s for both front L/R and rear surround.

Thank you for your honesty on these. I got the old 160m, and think I'll just keep those, and save my money. Peace ❤

I like having affordable speakers that aren't fussy with amp power, and having a nice response that I can fine-tune to my own personal tastes with an AVR's parametric equalizer (Yamaha TSR-7850).

Enjoyed your insights at the end as to why people like Klipsch. It felt like maybe you were also talking about why everyone loves you. Always innovating while staying true to your roots ❤❤❤

I think Klipsch’s stellar marketing strategies is why they are loved by so many. That and the look. Does anyone else have copper woofers? 🤷‍♂️ Before I even started my channel, I basically knew a couple of brands besides Klipsch, but was hell bent on owning a Klipsch home theater system. I know not everyone will take the time to create a home audio YouTube channel just to become more familiar with more brands (😄), but the fact that Klipsch was already on my radar as a home theater newbie tells you a lot about their marketing prowess. 🤘

How do you connect your wires to just 5 binding one wire to red and the other to black?

I purchased my RP600M-II speakers Black Friday on Amazon for $380. At that price they can’t be beat in the bookshelf category.

I only go with Klipsch from mains to surrounds to subs, perfect sound every time with movies and music!

it’s simple, because they are affordable. I have the 2018 RP line up (2 towers, 2 bookshelf and center) that I spent around $2000 for. I originally wanted the svs ultra line up but those are never on sale and for both towers, 2 bookshelf and center speakers was around $4200

Will the klipsch work with a Sansui 661 receiver?

I like my RP160M for light listening to loud listening. Small/Large room, it works. And yes I miss some information in the V dip.

I am thinking of the RP 500M for rear speakers. If I find the 500m II around Black Friday for a good price should I buy it instead?
