B&W 606 S2 Anniversary VS Klipsch RP-600M sound demo

Since there are many peoples asking the sound comparison between B&W 606 S2 AE and Klipsch RP-600M, so I create a video for these 2 pairs of speakers using the same Marantz PM6007 & CD6007. Please post a comment if wish to see more of these comparison from the speakers and amplifiers which I own.

Amplifiers - Marantz PM6007, Yamaha Aventage A3080 & Emotiva BasX700.

Speakers : B&W 606 S2 AE, Klipsch RP-600M , Klipsch RP-6000F, Klipsch RP-404C, Yamaha IC800 (Atmos) Monitor audio BX-1, BXC & BX FX

having heard them live before buying I went for the 606 s2, the Klipsch sounded a bit metallic and muffled, then again sound is a personal preference, over thing to know is that the 606 s2 ae are very sensitive to position even more than the Klipsch

I have both. The Klipsch sound bigger to me soundstage wise, but the b&w overall sounds better imo. Both are excellent for the money…or at least for what I paid lol. $377 (on sale) for the 600m and $425 for the 606s2 (dealer screw up lol)…but at full price especially the Klipsch it isn’t worth it and I’d rather give $200 more for the sonus Faber Lumina 2 than the B&W at the $999 price. Not a knock on either tho and as a budget minded audiophile I love them both

the Klipsch sounded fuller while the B&W’s sounded sharper.

that being said, judging the way any speaker sounds from an externally recorded video is absurd. lol

Come on now....B&W takes the Klipsch out back and beats it like a rented mule. Not even close. The 606 S3 grows with your equipment. Especially amplifier. Klipsch works ok on a wiim amp. Nuff said
