Whenever you chase validation, approval, success or love, you might find that your desires feel more and more out of your reach. The chasing dynamic to any of these goals only causes resistance, suffering, attachment and frustration. For example, when you chase validation from the external environment- say for example a significant other or a parent- you'll probably feel even less validation for yourself. You are probably expecting someone outside of yourself to say or do something for you which makes you sort of "chasing" external validation. All this does is deplete your energy and make you feel even less validation from your expectation.
When I stopped chasing validation, approval and success, I found that I stopped looking for those things outside of myself. Instead, I started giving myself validation, approval and embodying my version of success and it naturally manifested into my new identity and reality. When you stop chasing and start BEING, you shift to a whole new timeline of your identity and reality.
